Adyl Ziane is a Propane Delivery Driver at AmeriGas, where he has worked for over two years. He earned his CDL Class A certification from Pinellas Technical College and brings the same discipline and determination to his career that he brings to his family. His wife, Hanane Hilali, works full time at Macy’s, and together they are committed to building a stable future for their three sons.
The Ziane-Hilali household is lively and full of energy. Imrane, 14, is a sports enthusiast who regularly practices at the recreation center and enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and football. Yasser, 11, has a passion for video games and technology. Jad, 7, loves the outdoors and is happiest at the park or spending time outside. The three brothers share a strong bond and keep the home full of life.
The family has faced ongoing challenges with housing stability and rising living expenses. High rent costs and limited space have made it difficult to comfortably support their family and save for the future. In a previous apartment, they experienced ongoing issues with living conditions and maintenance, which created additional stress.
When the Ziane-Hilali learned they were accepted into the Habitat program, they felt relieved. “It gave us hope and motivation, and our first thought was about our children finally having a stable and safe home,” Adyl recalls. For the family, a Habitat home represents a foundation for their future, giving them independence, comfort, and the ability to plan ahead with confidence.
