Longlake Preserve, the townhome development located on the Largo-Clearwater border, will feature 52 townhomes and two single-family homes once completed. The development is being built in five phases, with the first two phases now finished, dedicated, and and families moved in. Phases three and four are already under construction. Longlake Preserve features three and four-bedroom townhomes with single car garages, contemporary open living space downstairs, and stainless-steel appliances in the kitchen.

Habitat is under contract on 8 acres of land just North of the current property, the former First Assembly of God church property. The property will be rezoned to make way for 100 townhomes, totaling more than 150 townhomes in the entire development once completed. Rezoning should occur within the next year, and site work is expected to begin in 2026. The entire project is projected to take one and a half to two years.

Tellor Estates

Pinellas Park, FL

In 2018, Habitat acquired 7.3 acres in Pinellas Park located at the northeast corner of 68th Street and 62nd Avenue North. In June of 2019, Habitat Pinellas and West Pasco broke ground on it’s largest development to date. Tellor Estates will eventually grow to 75 single-family homes in Pinellas Park.

One of the reasons the previous owner sold the property to Habitat is because we would not displace the 15 residents on the property, rather build around them. All other developers would have given them notice to vacate. Once these residents move on from their current property, Habitat will take over the land to build another single-family home for a Habitat family in the program.

Town & Country Villas

New Port Richey, FL

Habitat believes the redevelopment of Leisure Lane and Van Doran Avenue will be a catalyzing and transformational development in West Pasco. Since merging our two affiliates, we have been able to complete 10 homes in Town & Country Villas, significantly increasing production over sevenfold and this was even through a pandemic! This is an achievement our entire organization is proud of and the work continues to this day. Through a combined effort and partnership with Pasco County, City of New Port Richey, and the community, we have already witnessed significant change in the area and hope to see the quality of life for the residents and businesses continue to vastly improve. However, there are sizable challenges that remain with the redevelopment, mainly related to the substantial infrastructure needs for the area and flood mitigation that needs to occur. After nearly 5 years of trying to redevelop the property, our affiliate and its Board of Directors has concluded it is best if another entity shepherd the revitalization of the area. This was not an easy decision; however, we believe this will allow our organization to refocus our efforts within Pasco County and ultimately serve more families.
