Byron Sanchez is a devoted husband and father who works as a Digital Sales Agent at PODS Moving and Storage, a role he has held for four years. Byron met his wife, Angelina, at church in 2022, and together they’ve built a loving home centered on family and faith. Their journey to homeownership is rooted in faith, perseverance, and a deep desire to provide stability for his family.
Byron was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to the United States at age nine. He grew up here, finished school, and built a life grounded in gratitude and hard work. Angelina stays home with their daughter, Abrielle, and pours her heart into teaching her everything from ABCs to colors and numbers. At just one year old, she loves music, dancing, and exploring the world around her. Byron and Angelina dream of giving her a childhood filled with security, laughter, and opportunities to grow.
For now, the family lives in a single room at Byron’s parents’ home—a temporary solution after rent at their previous apartment became unaffordable. While they are grateful for the support, sharing one room has been challenging. “We no longer have the same privacy and freedom we used to.” Their hope is simple yet profound: a safe, affordable home where they can create memories and build a future.
When Byron learned they were accepted into the Habitat program, he felt a wave of relief and gratitude. “It truly felt like a door opening for our family,” he recalls. For Byron, a Habitat home means more than four walls—it represents peace, stability, and a foundation for the life they’ve been praying for. “My house will be a place where God’s love and peace fill every room,” he says. “A safe, stable foundation for our family, and a home where our daughter can grow with joy, security, and faith.”
