“I imagine the opportunity to create a wonderful loving home.”
For the past 12 years, Alli Flores has worked as a Dental Assistant at Northwood Dental in Clearwater. She is proud of her career and even more proud of being a mother, which she calls her greatest joy and blessing. Alli describes herself as caring and understanding, and her life revolves around creating the best future for her two children.
Her daughter, Demi, is a happy and energetic five-year-old who loves swimming, dancing, learning new things, and playing with her younger brother. Sebastian brings laughter and warmth into the family’s daily life. Alli says being their mom has changed her life in the best way possible.
Currently, Alli and her children share one bedroom in her mother and stepfather’s home. Between toys, a crib, and a queen-size bed, space is tight, and she dreams of giving her children rooms of their own. That dream is now closer than ever thanks to Habitat for Humanity. “I was honestly surprised and immediately grateful—it was overwhelming to think of the opportunity ahead of me,” she recalls of the moment she was accepted into the program.
