Habitat hires Tiffany Faykus as Chief Advancement Officer

Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties is proud to announce and welcome a new staffing addition: Tiffany Faykus as Chief Advancement Officer.

Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties has built over 660 safe and affordable homes for local families, and was recently recognized as the second largest Habitat affiliate in the country based on new home builds out of the 1,049 affiliate network. The Charity Navigator 4-Star rated organization has seen significant growth over the past five years, growing to a staff of 66 employees and expanding into Pasco County after a merger with the West Pasco affiliate in March of 2019.

In her new role at Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties, Tiffany will oversee the resource development function of the organization. She will work with staff to build a robust fund development plan for the new fiscal year; July 2021- June 2022.

“As we position ourselves for the start of a new strategic plan focused on growth, we are excited to bring Tiffany on in her new role as Chief Advancement Officer,” said Mike Sutton. “To make a greater impact, our goal of serving more families means building more homes, which will require more resources to do our work. Tiffany will support the organization as it plans for continued sustainability and growth to move the Habitat for Humanity mission forward.”

Tiffany joins Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties with a background in nonprofits as Executive Director of the Heart Gallery of Pinellas & Pasco County and Director of Development for the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg.  Tiffany began her career in Moscow, Russia in 1994 working with the first Toys for Tots outside of the USA. Over twenty five years and many miles later, she remains a passionate advocate for social change.

Tiffany is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Pinellas, and serves on the Board of Tiger Bay and WGG Foundation.  She has also served on the Board of American Stage Theater and St. Petersburg City Theater, and was a Charter Member of the Guild of the Dali Museum. Tiffany has a bachelors from New York University and a masters from Central European University.  Tiffany, her husband and their three children live in St. Petersburg.
