Save on taxes by donating stocks and bonds

Donating stocks allows you to avoid capital gains tax and often take a charitable deduction for the full value of the asset. Habitat for Humanity has partnered with FreeWill to offer our donors a simple online stock tool.

If you would like to transfer your appreciated assets, you can:

• Use our online tool to walk you through the process in less than 5 minutes; or
• Access our transfer information and work directly with your broker to transfer your stocks.
