Bay News 9 joined Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside on Wednesday, April 30th as the affiliate welcomed ten new homeowner families to their new townhomes in St. Pete. These townhomes, built in partnership with the City of St. Pete, are being purchased by these families as a maximum price of $279,000. Each homeowner family earned an affordable 0% APR mortgage after completing the Habitat homeownership program.
Individuals and families earning between 30% and 80% of the area median income (AMI) can look into the Habitat program about qualifying for the homeownership program. Habitat Tampa Bay Gulfside serves Pinellas, West Pasco, and Hernando Counties.
