Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties, Inc. is seeking bids for labor and materials for infrastructure improvements on a proposed Fifty-Four (54) Unit Townhome SUBDIVISION in Pinellas County FL. The scope of work will further define in the bid packet yet includes: site preparation, stormwater management system installation, utilities installation, road construction, and site grading. This will be a blind bidding process.

Habitat would like to invite you to participate in the bidding process by contacting Charles Armstrong at carmstrong@habitatpwp.org  prior to the bid opening date on June 7th or any time during the open bid period. The Invitation to Bid (ITB) does not commit Habitat to award a contract, to pay any cost incurred in the preparation of the firm’s ITB response or procure contract services or systems. Habitat reserves the right to accept or reject any or all ITB responses received as a result of this request, to negotiate with all qualified sources and/or to cancel all or part of this ITB.

          • Section 3: The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. § 1701u. The purpose of section 3 is to ensure that employment and other economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance or HUD-assisted projects covered by section 3 shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low-and very-low income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing.
