On March 24th, 2017, Amanda Piantadosi became Habitat of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties’ 400th homeowner. After many hours of sweat equity and homeowner classes, Amanda, her mother, her niece, and her niece’s daughter were able to move into their forever home. At the time, the 400th house equated to 720,000 volunteer hours, 112,000 volunteers and 1,047 total children served since 1985. The affiliate has come a long way since then. In 2017, Habitat of Pinellas and West Pasco was rated the 12th largest affiliate in the nation. Now, in 2021, we are number two!
Four years and 300 homes later, Habitat is getting ready to celebrate it’s 700th milestone home dedication for the Sakers Family. The dedication will take place in Tellor Estates on August 30th at 9 am. View more about the event here.
