“I want them to have a place where they can grow, feel secure, and make memories that will last a lifetime.”
Shanise Frazier is a Manager Associate at Hertz, where she has worked for the past two and a half years. A hardworking, family-oriented mother of four, Shanise believes in leading by example and values honesty, accountability, and creating a loving, stable home for her children. Everything she does is centered on giving her kids the best life possible.
Angelina, 10, Khloe, 5, Lemarr, 4, and Shalece, 1, keep life busy and filled with joy. Angelina loves doing her hair and dressing up. Khloe has a playful personality and loves family activities and taking pictures. Lemarr is an energetic little boy who enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his sisters, while baby Shalece is already curious about the world around her and loves watching her older siblings. The family enjoys matching outfits, making memories, and supporting one another. As a single mother of four, Shanise has outgrown her current home, where the children share rooms and have limited personal space. As they’ve grown, the lack of room and privacy has become increasingly challenging.
When Shanise learned she had been accepted into the Habitat program, her thoughts immediately went to her children. “I felt so blessed knowing I was building a safe, stable home where they could have their own rooms, make memories, and have a place to call their own,” she shares. For Shanise, a Habitat home represents the reward of years of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. She looks forward to seeing her children have room to grow and a space where they can create lasting memories together. “My house will be a place filled with love, laughter, and memories,” she says. “It felt like all my hard work was finally paying off.”
